Reunited at Sunset | Myanmar
This is a snap-shot (literally) of the beauty and wonder of Myanmar. We fell in love with this country immediately because of its rich culture and old world charm.
We perched our selves on top of a 850 year old temple, Dhammayangyi Temple, to enjoy another blood red sunset of Bagan, Myanmar. This is just one of 2,200 temples and/or pagodas in Bagan. If we just had the sunset it would have been a perfect evening but, as we often experienced in Myanmar, we got more than we expected :)
As the sun set below the mountains two horse-drawn carriages moved along the road and four women with their herd of buffalo came roaming across the arid pasture.
All of a sudden a calf broke away from the herd and ran ahead, maybe from excitement or maybe to stretch its legs. The calf's mother, startled, quickly gave pursuit to reunite at sunset.
